Get Ready for Fall and the Holidays with the 4th Annual Montgomery County Home and Outdoor Living Show

CONROE, TX – Expect to see over 100 exhibitors in home improvement and outdoor living at the 4th Annual Montgomery County Home and Outdoor Living Show August 20-21, 2022, at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe.

Several exhibitors will be on hand with their creative projects to enhance your home for the holidays.

Get trendy holiday home décor ideas from Houston Chronicle Architecture and Design writer Diane Cowen, and holiday organization tips from professional organizer Ellen Delap. Mary Scalli of Simple Elegance, Certified Interior Designer, Home Stager, and Hunter Douglas Window Treatments will speak on fall design trends. Color image expert Trish Buscemi will show how lighting can transform the mood for the holidays when you have guests. New for the fall show is author and entertaining expert Ronda Carmen with holiday decorating and entertaining tips.

Ronda Carman, accomplished author and featured speaker, will give tips for festive fall entertaining and tabletop ideas. Attendees will take part in an open forum with questions and a book signing. Inspired by her time living in Scotland and abroad, she shares an international flair to arranging flowers, creating beautiful table settings, stocking the pantry for holidays, and planning memorable menus. She has authored The Art of Pantry Cooking: Meals for Family and Friends (2022), Entertaining at Home (2019) and Designers at Home (2013).

Attend a DIY Home Décor Project by AR Workshop! Make your own 18-inch canvas pillow cover both Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21. There will be a variety of stencils and paint available to make something to match your décor in your home. During the class, the AR Workshop Cypress will teach participants DIY skills step-by-step as you paint your own pillow cover.

Nonprofit partners include Operation Pets Alive with items for your furry friends, Inspiration Ranch -Therapeutic Riding and equine-assisted therapy and activities for children, youth, and adults with disabilities, Habitat for Humanity Montgomery County, and Community Assistance Center (CAC).

CAC’s booth will feature a Duck Pond and a “Duck Pluck” opportunity for attendees to DOUBLE their chances of winning amazing prizes at the Annual Duck Race scheduled for Sept. 24th by purchasing a Duck at their booth.

This year at the door, teachers receive half-off admission with valid ID. On Frontline Sunday all active Military personnel, Veterans, Fire, Police, and First responders receive a free admission with a valid ID. Simply present your valid ID at the Box Office for complimentary admission.

Show hours are Saturday August 20 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday, August 21 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Lone Star Convention Center, 9055 Airport Road, Conroe, 77303. Tickets for the show are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, children 12 years and younger are free, and $7 online prior to entry. Free parking is available at the Lone Star Convention Center.
